Biography:
Coach Butler enters his 2nd year at Independence as the Wide Receiver's coach and Freshmen Head Coach. He previously coached at Unity Reed HS in Prince William County and coached Track & Field at John Handley High School in Winchester, where he coached numerous All-State and future Division 1 All-American sprinters.
In his playing career, Coach Butler was an All-Region Wide Receiver and All-State Sprinter at John Handley High School. He graduated from Bridgewater College with a degree in Exercise Science & Nutrition and got his Master’s from Shenandoah University in Special Education.
Coach Butler lives in Stephens City with his wife Alex and kids, Carson and Aria.
